The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has opened nominations for members who want to contest the party’s upcoming National Officers Elections.
The nomination process started on Monday, August 17, 2026, and will end on Saturday, August 22.
The National Officers Elections Committee said nominations will be received each day from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during the six-day period.
In a notice announcing the process, Chairperson of the National Officers Elections Committee, Frederick Opare-Ansah, urged interested aspirants to use the opportunity to complete all the required procedures before the deadline.
He also asked aspirants to come with the prescribed filing fees, either in cash or by cheque, when picking up their nomination forms.
“All interested aspirants are encouraged to come along with their stipulated filing fees either in cash or by cheque to pick up their nominations within the stipulated period and ensure that all required processes are duly completed,” he said.
Aspirants are expected to obtain the relevant nomination forms, pay the required filing fees and complete the necessary procedures before nominations close on Saturday, August 22.
The NPP National Officers Elections Committee has therefore urged all interested members to take advantage of the nomination period and submit their applications on time.
