Ghanaian content creator Reign Oforiwaa has paid tribute to late actress Beverly Afaglo Baah in a touching TikTok video that is gaining attention on social media.
The tribute remembers the life and achievements of the actress, who passed away on May 24 after a two-year battle with cancer. She died at the International Maritime Hospital in Tema, just four days before her 43rd birthday.
In the video, Reign Oforiwaa shares Beverly Afaglo’s journey, starting from her roots in the Volta Region and her studies in journalism and public relations before becoming one of Ghana’s well-known actresses.
The tribute also highlights some of the movies that made Beverly popular, including Sidechic Gang, Aloe Vera, Return of Beyonce, Girls Connection and The Game.
Reign also spoke about Beverly’s life outside acting, mentioning that she owned Glamour Beauty Salon in Tema, started Traffic Shawarma in 2024 and also managed B.A.B Handyman Ghana Ltd.
The video also reflects on Beverly’s family life. She was married to musician Choirmaster of Praye, and together they had two daughters, Violyn and Kora.
It also recalls the house fire she survived in 2021 and how she continued to pursue her career afterwards.
Towards the end of the tribute, Reign remembered Beverly’s family, friends and colleagues before offering prayers for her soul to rest in peace.
The emotional video has received positive reactions on social media, with many Ghanaians praising Reign Oforiwaa for honouring Beverly Afaglo’s life and legacy in a heartfelt way.
