The forecourt of the State House is buzzing with activity as preparations continue ahead of the final funeral rites of late actress and media personality Beverly Ama Afaglo-Baah.
The funeral is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Saturday, August 8, 2026.
Workers have been busy putting the final touches to the venue, with rows of red canopies already mounted to provide space for the hundreds of mourners expected to attend the ceremony.
Large portraits of the late actress have also been displayed across the forecourt, showing different moments from her life and career.
Floral decorations are still being arranged as organisers work to prepare the venue for the final farewell.
Security personnel and event organisers were also seen at the venue coordinating logistics ahead of the ceremony.
The funeral is expected to bring together personalities from Ghana’s entertainment industry, media, corporate circles and government, as well as fans who want to pay their last respects to Beverly Afaglo.
After the funeral service, Beverly Afaglo will be laid to rest in a private burial.
A thanksgiving service will also be held on Sunday at Action Chapel International.
