Mahama Takes Resetting Ghana Tour to Upper East Region

President John Dramani Mahama is set to continue his Resetting Ghana Tour in the Upper East Region as part of his nationwide engagement with citizens.

The President is expected to spend Thursday and Friday in the region, where he will meet traditional leaders, residents, community groups and other stakeholders to discuss issues affecting the area.

The tour is part of President Mahama’s post-election engagements following his victory in the 2024 general elections. It also forms part of efforts to promote the government’s national reset agenda.

In a Facebook post, the Presidency announced that President Mahama would take the ResettingGhanaTour to the Upper East Region to engage citizens and push forward the national reset agenda.

The visit will give residents the opportunity to raise concerns, share their expectations and discuss development priorities with the President and his team.

The Upper East Region was an important part of the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) victory in the 2024 presidential election, with President Mahama receiving more than 360,000 votes in the region.

The President’s visit is therefore expected to bring together party supporters, community members and other stakeholders as the government engages the region on its development needs.
