Ghana Shippers Authority boss, Professor Ransford Gyampo, has declared that nothing will stop him from supporting the Mahama-led government in reshaping Ghana, following his viral exchange with Dr. George Domfeh, a senior lecturer at the University of Ghana.
Speaking about the incident for the first time through a series of social media posts, Prof. Gyampo expressed gratitude to well-wishers who reached out after the episode.
“Thanks to all who have called to acknowledge my self-restraint in the face of a petty attack,” he wrote.
He went on to emphasize: “But I will say it again, forcefully: THOSE WHO DESTROYED THE COUNTRY WOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO FRUSTRATE THOSE RESETTING IT, NEVER!”
The incident went viral after TV3 shared footage of Prof. Gyampo and Dr. Domfeh exchanging heated words during a live political broadcast. During the debate, Dr. Domfeh accused Prof. Gyampo of political bias and claimed he had been self-centered during his tenure as UG-UTAG president.
