Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah Sends Strong Message to Bawumia Ahead of NPP Primaries
Founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah, has issued a strong warning to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) gears up for its crucial presidential primaries.
Speaking during a Sunday service that has since gone viral, the outspoken prophet urged Dr. Bawumia to “tread carefully” in his political journey, cautioning that “not everyone smiling at him within the party wishes him well.”
Owusu Bempah, known for his bold political prophecies, emphasized that the coming primaries would be “spiritually charged” and that divine guidance, not political strategy, would determine the eventual flagbearer.
He said, “God has revealed something to me about the NPP flagbearer race. I won’t say much now, but I’ll urge Dr. Bawumia to seek the face of God earnestly. There are forces at play — both spiritual and political — and he must be vigilant.”
The prophecy has sparked mixed reactions within the NPP and on social media, with some supporters calling for prayers for the Vice President, while others have dismissed it as a publicity stunt ahead of the primaries.
The man of God warned that if Dr. Bawumia does not call his supporters to order, he could face another defeat in the upcoming primaries and possibly in the 2028 general elections. According to him, no one who disrespects or insults a prophet of God can succeed in national leadership.
He emphasized that spiritual authority must be respected and that politicians who ignore divine warnings always pay the price in the end. “When people insult men of God, they block their own blessings,” he said, urging Bawumia to act quickly to stop his supporters before it becomes too late.
Owusu Bempah concluded by reminding the NPP that humility and obedience to God are key to victory. He added that the former Vice President’s camp should focus on building unity and showing respect rather than attacking prophets and church leaders.
The NPP’s upcoming primaries will determine who becomes the party’s flagbearer for the 2028 elections, and the message from Prophet Owusu Bempah has already stirred public discussion about spirituality and politics in Ghana.
