The Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP-USA) has officially inaugurated its new executives at a ceremony held in Dallas on October 25, 2026.
The inauguration reaffirmed the chapter’s commitment to mobilising support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s bid to become Ghana’s next president and strengthening the party’s presence among Ghanaians in the diaspora.
The ceremony marked a new chapter for the organisation, which has served as a mobilisation centre for the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition in North Texas.
The newly elected executives were sworn into office by Dr. Stella Green, an elder of the NPP Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter.
She urged the new leaders to uphold the party’s values and serve the Ghanaian community with integrity.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected Chapter Chairman, Kliphord Darkwah, thanked members for the confidence they had placed in the executive team.
He outlined plans to expand membership, improve community engagement and strengthen support for the party’s national agenda ahead of the 2028 general elections.
“Our mandate is clear: to work together to ensure that Dr. Bawumia and the NPP win the 2028 polls in Ghana, to build a cohesive and active base here in Dallas-Fort Worth that not only champions the ideals of the NPP but also serves as a bridge between our members and the homeland,” Mr. Darkwah stated.
He added that the chapter was committed to transparency, inclusivity and hard work as it sought to bring members of the community together.
The event was attended by invited guests, members of the NPP Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter and members of the Ghanaian community in the area.
The ceremony ended with a call for unity and collective action to ensure that the chapter remains an active force within the party’s North American structure.
